The process of transmitting the virus between the patient and the doctor through airborne itself, which is actually carried out by a specialist in internal medicine and a consultant gastroentero-hepatologist, Prof. Ari Fahrial Syam, MD, MMB, Ph.D., FACP, FACG, which occurs when a patient who has been infected with Covid-19 opens his mouth and exhales, then the virus particles stick to the doctor’s mask. Doctors who are not aware of this can grab the surface of the mask and call out the nose. The virus eventually enters the body through the nostrils.
Apart from using masks, based on the data shown, it seems that the virus is mostly attached to hazmat suits or PPE that doctors use for contact with patients. No exception to the clothes worn by doctors or other medical personnel. The cases that have been encountered, namely the infection of a family doctor who worked at a referral hospital.
