ISDE Delegates on KSGE Days 2024
On August 17, 2024, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (KSGE) and the Indonesian Society for Digestive Endoscopy (ISDE). As a follow-up, ISDE was invited as a guest speaker at the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Days 2024 (KSGE Days 2024) to present on the development of therapeutic endoscopy and academic endoscopy organizations in Indonesia.
During the event, Dr. Rabbinu Rangga Pribadi presented the topic “Current Status of Therapeutic Endoscopy in Indonesia”, where he discussed the rapid advancements in therapeutic endoscopy within the country. Dr. Achmad Fauzi delivered a presentation on “Current Status of Academic Society of GI Endoscopy in Indonesia”, highlighting the growth in the number of hospitals serving as training centers for endoscopy and the stages of becoming a gastroenterologist-endoscopist in Indonesia.
The ISDE delegation, consisting of 11 participants, attended the KSGE Days 2024 event. The delegates included the following:

In addition to attending the KSGE Days 2024, the PEGI delegation also held discussions with KSGE about future plans for cooperation and collaboration. It is hoped that the partnership between KSGE and PEGI will bring progress and benefits to PEGI members and the people of Indonesia. This collaboration is expected to significantly advance the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy in Indonesia.
