The Asian-Pacific Society for Digestive Endoscopy (APSDE) Annual General Meeting 2024 took place on Saturday, 23 November 2024, at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali, Indonesia. The event was held in the APDWF Business Meeting Room, Kintamani 1, on the Mezzanine Floor, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

Representing the Indonesian Society for Digestive Endoscopy (ISDE) at this prestigious gathering were Dr. Achmad Fauzi, who participated as Councilor, and Dr. Hasan Maulahela, who presented during the meeting.

On behalf of Prof. Ari Fahrial Syam, Dr. Hasan Maulahela delivered a comprehensive progress report on the project titled “Relationship between Risk Factors and Sodium Levels on Gastric Mucosal Severity in East Nusa Tenggara.” This study highlights critical insights into how sodium levels and associated risk factors impact the severity of gastric mucosal conditions in the region, reflecting ISDE’s commitment to advancing gastroenterology research and addressing region-specific health issues.
