SAFETY TIPS TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL OR HEALTH CENTER DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

When the covid pandemic hit, the government advised people who had no interest to stay at home to prevent transmission of the coronavirus. However, when our condition or one of our family members starts to feel bad (sick), we inevitably want to go to a health service. Meanwhile, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 continues to increase every day. This is what then becomes the anxiety of the people who want to go to the hospital or health center for treatment.

Then, what are the efforts we can do to stay safe and not catch the coronavirus when we go to health services? Quoted from Kompas.com, the following tips are safe when going to the hospital or health center delivered by the President of ISDE as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, Prof. Ari Fahrial Syam, MD, Ph.D., MMB, FACP, FACG. He revealed that when going to the hospitals or health centers, it is better to still wear a mask and keep a distance.

Then, when all the needs at the hospital or health center have been completed, the community is encouraged to go home immediately and not stop by anywhere else. After arriving home, hurry to wash your face, hands, and immediately wash and change the clothes.

We recommend that you visit a health service if it is an emergency that requires medical attention. If only general complaints consult a doctor through virtual services. Finally, make sure the health service you are aiming for has implemented strict health protocols and is still protecting yourself by complying with the recommended health protocols.
