
ISDE Delegation Represents Indonesia at KSGE Days 2025
Busan, South Korea – The Indonesian Society for Digestive Endoscopy (ISDE) delegation participated in the Korea Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (KSGE) Days 2025, held on Friday – Saturday, 19 – 20 September 2025 at BPEX, Busan, South Korea. This participation underscores Indonesia’s active role in global collaboration and its meaningful contribution to the advancement of gastroenterology and endoscopy.

Dr. Rabbinu Rangga Pribadi, Secretary General of ISDE and Coordinator of Young ISDE, presented updates on the preparation of the Jakarta International Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Symposium – Live Demonstration (JIGES-LD) 2026 in conjunction with IDEN Indonesia Chapter during the IDEN Board Meeting, held alongside KSGE Days 2025. Scheduled for February 11-14, 2026, in Jakarta, JIGES-LD 2026 is expected to become an important platform for scientific exchange and to expand international networking among gastroenterologist and endoscopist.

In addition, Dr. Rabbinu was also invited as a speaker, delivering a lecture on “Current Status of EUS-guided Biliary Drainage in Indonesia” His presentation also highlighted recent publications by Prof. Dadang Makmun, Dr. Achmad Fauzi, Dr. Hasan Maulahela, and Dr. Mita Hafsah on EUS-BD.

The Indonesian delegation at KSGE Days 2025 also included Dr. Nikko Darnindro, SpPD, K-GEH, FINASIM, Secretary of PEGI Muda/Young ISDE. Together, they actively engaged with the international community while showcasing the contributions of Indonesia’s young scholars in gastroenterology and endoscopy.
PEGI’s active participation in KSGE Days 2025 is expected to further strengthen Indonesia’s scientific collaboration with the international gastroenterology community while opening new opportunities for research, education, and innovation in the field of endoscopy.
