Internet Browsing Habit and Dyspepsia Syndrome in Adolescent

Did you know, that the habit of interacting with internet search engines can affect the development of dyspepsia symptoms in adolescent patients?

Based on the results of research in The Indonesian Journal of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Digestive Endoscopy shows that the habit of interacting with internet search engines can affect the development of dyspeptic symptoms in adolescent patients.

This is because dyspepsia is also associated with psychosocial disorders. Internet browsing habits can further develop into internet addiction. Previous research has shown that internet addiction is a predictor of stress, depression, anxiety, and loneliness.

Therefore, it is important to prevent internet addiction in adolescents, so that functional dyspepsia does not occur. However, this research still requires further studies to find a cause-and-effect relationship.
