Get Closer with Prof. Ari Fahrial Syam
Department of Internal Medicine, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital / Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia Prof. Ari has served as Deputy 2008-2012 FKUI Student and Alumni Manager and Administrative and Financial Coordinator of the Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Internal Medicine, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital / Faculty of Medicine UI. He has served as a 2012-2014 Faculty of Medicine UI Venture Manager. Prof. Dr. Dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, MMB, SpPD, K-GEH, FACP, FACG, FINASIM obtained the title of general practitioner from FKUI in 1990. In 2001, Prof. Ari completed the Master of Molecular Biology at the University of Queensland, Australia. Then in 2000, he completed his specialist education in the field of Internal Medicine and became a consultant to Hepatology Gastroenterology from the College PB-PAPDI in 2005. Doctoral Education from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in 2011 in the field of Biomedical studies. Prof. Ari was inaugurated as a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in 2018. Prof. Ari served as the President of ISDE (The Indonesian Society for Digestive Endoscopy) for the period 2016-2019 and the period 2019-2023. Prof. Ari also served as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia for the period 2017-2021 and the period 2021-2025.
