60th National Health Day!
Each year on November 12, Indonesia commemorates National Health Day (HKN), an important occasion that reminds us of the fundamental role health plays in achieving a productive and prosperous life. This year, 2024, marks the 60th HKN, with the theme “Move Together, Stay Healthy Together,” a call for all of society to unite in the effort to maintain good health. More than just an individual responsibility, health is a collective duty involving all layers of society.
The people of Indonesia face various health challenges, from infectious and non-communicable diseases to mental health issues, which are increasingly gaining attention. In addressing these challenges, cooperation between the government, healthcare professionals, institutions, and the community is crucial. With “Move Together, Stay Healthy Together,” it is hoped that all elements of society can work together, share roles, and act in unison to create a healthier environment.
The Indonesian Society for Digestive Endoscopy (ISDE) also welcomes and supports this year’s National Health Day. As part of the healthcare community, ISDE is committed to providing quality endoscopy education and services and contributing to improving the overall health quality of the Indonesian people.
By moving together, we can build a healthier and more productive Indonesia. Health is an invaluable asset that sustains our success as individuals and as a nation. Therefore, on this 60th National Health Day, let us strengthen our steps together to care for our own health, our families, and our surroundings.
Happy 60th National Health Day! Together, we can achieve a healthier Indonesia!
